Additional Information

The Salt is a great place for a beginner to learn to fly fish. The casting is easy and you can usually cast large, easily seen dry flies, which always makes for a fun day of fly fishing. Cutthroat love to take flies on the surface so you will probably spend most of your time fishing dry flies.

The Salt also offers a good chance at catching a larger Brown Trout. All our trips include lunch, transportation, beverages, and any loan rods. You’ll just need to get a few flies, leaders, and a fishing license.

Cameras are well worth bringing to capture your day. This river does have numerous bug hatches, and when hit at the right time can be excellent fishing.
