Scott has the knowledge and gear to get you on the ice safely to fish in comfort.
These trips’ meetup times are affected by seasonality and conditions, but you can expect an 8-9 a.m. start, returning most days by about 4-5 p.m.
Expect a scenic 1.25-hour drive to Lava Creek Ranch, and 30 minutes of safety, set-up and technique discussion, followed by 3-5 hours of fishing. We also include a hot lunch of soup and hot cocoa or coffee for the ride home.

Time to Fish
Generally starting in December and extending through April, this high-elevation lake at 7,700 feet along the Wind River in the Absaroka Mountains offers a unique, prolific, private fly fishing experience.
