Lewis Lake Float – Yellowstone National Park

Excellent fly fishing for both Brown Trout and Lake Trout

The gin clear waters of Lewis Lake in Yellowstone National Park provide some excellent fly fishing for both Brown Trout and Lake Trout during much of the summer and late in the fall. Depending on conditions, sometimes we fish with sinking lines and others we throw dry flies at cruising trout. We begin guiding on this lake just as soon as the ice comes off the lake after Memorial Day weekend.

Both fly and spin fishing work very well on this lake and we are happy to guide both types of fishermen.

Sometimes we will fish both Lewis and Yellowstone Lakes in a single day. This mostly depends on the weather and the timing, but can provide a great day fishing for a variety of fish. Come join us for some of this truly great lake fishing in a pristine environment.

All our trips include lunch, transportation, park entrance, and any loan equipment that is needed. You will just need to get a fishing license and a few flies or lures.
