Grand Teton Fly Fishing

New Store Front for GTFF – Come check us out!

Hey, if you haven't heard, GTFF has moved and we now have a year round store front at 565 N. Cache, Unit 2, downtown Jackson! We have been looking for an ideal location for some time and when this space opened we were thrilled to call it home and officially moved in May 15, 2023. The space is on the north edge of town, just a few doors up from the crazy center and sandwich masters at Creekside Deli and the lovely Fort Frame and Art (Scott's wife, Dana's business:)

Our first summer using the space went very well and seamless. While we cannot leave vehicles all day in our lot, typically that did not pose a problem as guests going north met their guides, then followed to an agreeable location and those going south often wanted to avoid the afternoon JH traffic anyhow and met south of town. The location is also best for those making a stop before an adventure north in GTNP, grabbing any last-minute items like a license, flies, accessories or sun shirts and hats. We are continuously searching for new, relevant and exciting products to offer, so please if you have never been by, stop in and say hello and meet the main shop/office crew, Scott (year-round), Bruce, Tim and some of the guides (seasonal).

We stock apparel from Free Fly, Stio, Grundens, and Duck Camp (coming soon). Our hard goods equipment of choice are Douglas, Mystic and Echo (coming soon) fly rods and reels from Cheeky and 3-Tand. You might have noticed; all of these products are not mainstream brands. While we have long supported fine products from Simms, Patagonia or Orvis, we think new and upcoming brands deserve and have a place in a local fly shop. Our guides and guest's use these products daily and we stand behind their quality and durability, but often, best of all is their value. Furthermore, we stock over 700 fly patterns and everything in-between. Oh yeah, the ice fishing gig is quite fun in the winter, so we are showing off all a veteran or newcomer ice angler might need to have a safe and fun day on the ice when the fly fishing is just too cold to handle.

Lastly, we will be launching a new website early in 2024. It will have a similar look and feel as our current and popular site but with better performance on personal devices as well as an online shopping platform. This will start small but over time we hope to broaden it to a nearly full spectrum of our product line, gear that our guides can highlight for guests before their arrival or before an adventure to a far-off destination.

We really look forward to having you visit in person, or soon online. Thank you from all the staff at GTFF!
